I realize how dumb that sounds, but I bought a timing light this morning and checkedit out, car is running at 5 degrees ATDC, (I'm guessing since the scale doesnt even go foreward that far) I about had a heart attack when I saw it and I'm hoping fixing it will go a long way toward solving my detonation problem, but on to the question. I loosened the three bolts on the CAS (very loose) but I cant budge the CAS itself from the block. It loopks like it has some sort of RTV or lok-tite put on it when it was installed. How can I break it loose without damaging anything? I imagine sticking a flat head in there and whacking it like a chisel is a bad idea...
