Message boost levels. Two things, however. I do not know what native boost is on Z1's 525 turbos. If they're anything close to the 12 psi that JWT Sport 500's are, he's already on the ragged edge without turning up the boost. He had been turning up the boost, and now he is having more issues than just detonation.

it happened accellerating onto the on ramp in second about 4000rpm, about 5psi, but I knew the sensor wouldnt read over 3500 so when I got onto the open road I put it in fift at about 2200rpm, and gave it about 3/4 throttle, sure enough there it was again, no power, and the god awefull noise (this time occured at 4psi, EBC was off)

My concern is that the damage has already been done. At this point that is the main focus, not why he's detonating at native boost levels, although that will also have to be addressed.
