Message there are a few reasons for detonation but the basics are the same, your combustion process is too hot or you have crappy fuel. I'll assume you've got the fuel under control. Given the history you provide, i.e. recent work etc, I'd start with a boost leak check. A vacuum leak causing a lean AFR could cause the detonation. I haven't run a dual intake myself, but I'd make sure the ECU and AFR are calibrated for your setup or you may be feeding more air than the fuel map is expecting. After confirming no vacuum leaks, set timing to 15 btdc and check temperature range on plugs - use the cooler 6b plugs gapped at .035. Find a dyno and get the AFR under load. BUT BE VERY CAREFUL running the engine under detonation WILL melt a piston in a matter of 5-10 seconds. With good fuel, a properly mapped ECU, proper spark plugs and timing, and no vacuum leaks/good AFR - 90% of the battle is won. If detonation persists post again and pursue temperature control on air charge, carbon deposits, etc.
