| If your Z is detonating and the det sensor is working, you won't see a code 34. I.e. Codes don't tell you that your car is detonating. As for your problems, start with doing a 6P's diagnosis. Look up in the Auto-FAQ section of this site a post titled "The 6P's - Proper Preparation Prevents Piss Poor Performance" I would suspect that maybe your timing is way advanced. As well as other problems.
