Message	I used the method of shorting the pins on the connector near the hood release, I had the car ON, but engine not started so all the dash lights were on, as soon as I shorted the two pins the check engine light went off, I held it there for 3-5 seconds and the check engine light did not come back on till about a second after I stopped shorting the pins, once on it didn't blink at all. Does this mean there were no codes? and if there is no code that means that it has never detonated under 3500rpm?
