So Friday evening I went and had my oil changed and starting saturday morning I heard a odd noise coming from the engine so popped the hood and it sounded like a rod knock. Never heard what a knock is like on a Z but there is a definite "clunking" sound. Ever plucked at a semi-stiff piece of plastic and heard the noise it temporarily makes as it vibrates? Its sort of like that but directly tied to engine speed and regular engine noise. At some points it sounds like its coming from the bottom, others right on top underneath the top plastic cover. I unplugged all coil packs individually and found no change when doing so except to cylinder 6. Took it to a local nissan dealership for 20mins and they plugged in the consult II and ran a program that cut fuel to each injector individually. Results as follows: #1: 96 rpm, #2: 91rpm, #3: 103rpm, #4: 96rpm, #5 109rpm and #6: 45rpmI can definitely feel it misifiring while driving. The knocking sound (so i think) occasionally comes and goes is loudness and range, gets worse when cold and fades when warm. Engine is pretty sluggish down low (been keeping the revs below 2k) and defnitely misfires a lot, 2500-4k it feels almost normal but the noise is still there if I rev it w/ the hood up. At 2k the engine becomes a bit unbalanced and definitely gets the car shaking slightly but above that it balances back out and is smooth but the noise continues. I just moved to NH from MI for a job this summer so I only have one car.. makes me absolutely sick having to drive it but thus far between work and trying to find mechanics I've driven it for ~70miles in this condition. Fuel consumption seems relatively normal, a tad low, and the oil pressure has been normal as well (30 when below 2000rpm and 60 when above 2500 and accelerating). If I got from a stop through 1st and 2nd gear up to 35-40mph it struggles slightly from 1700-2200 then cleans up and feels completely normal. I'm taking it to the nissan dealership for a diagnosis tomorrow but was hoping to get some input from people here on possibilities. Thanks for any input
