Hello, I have been reading post on this site since before I bought my 90 na Z in 2002. I have extensively searched for any answers that seemed even remotely close to solving my problem. I blew my motor when I drove through a puddle of water. I bought a jdm replacement and put it in myself. However I have been having a very strange idle problem. When I drive it and I get to a stop sign or a red light it idles very rough. However if I park and let it idle, it will idle normally after a few minutes. Before it reaches normal operating temp, it will idle fine at lights. If I park and let the idle return to normal, it only takes a couple blocks before it starts doing it again. On cool mornings it takes a little longer before it gets the rough idle and power loss at brief stops. I've checked the TPS, MAF sensor, coil packs, injectors, replaced O2 sensors after checking for trouble codes, changed plugs, replaced AAC valve, compression is within 6psi on each cylinder. Oh, i forgot, I've seen the right cat glowing. Also cleaned harness connectors and swapped out 3 PTU's(new style). Please help, I hope the symptoms are specific emough for someone else to have had the same problem before. Best regards.
