do the work, do it yourself. you'll save yourself about prob just a guess, $900. Beleive it or not, when i had my na, i always wanted to but was too scred to do it. Its really not that hard, especially since you dont have turbos to deal with. just unplug part by part, take pictures of the dissassembly step by step for reference, and label each vaccum hose, connectors, and what they connect to with masking tape. for example, hose (1a) and nipple (1a). By using this site as a reference you can probably have it done in no time. Ijust did it to my tt and work on it here and there, a total of about 14 hours of work including alot of performance upgrades.
