Message Would there be any effects if the vacuum line as well as the egr solenoid pictured here in blue were removed:

The actual EGR Valve unit as well as the tubes under the plenum will still be attached.

Will the EGR valve become a boost leak if the metal vacuum line is left open in the rear of the motor?
