type injectors. Theories I've heard of why Eth is causing this, as seen in search on this and other sites are: * Pintles are not lubed as well w/ E10, causing the injector to work harder, causing premature failure. * In a car that sits, the alcohol evaporates into the electrical part of the injector, rusting it out. The 95+ injectors supposedly have better insulation to prevent this. I was told by a mechanic friend to use Marvel Mystery oil in the gas tank to lube the injectors better. Not sure what to believe, but I have not seen that problem until E10 became the gas used. Took other people's cars about a year to show signs of failure- high OHM readings. Since this only seems to happen to pintle-types, the perm fix appears to be to change to the pintleless.
