I have a 1990 Twin Turbo convertible (Straman conversion), working on my list of things to do with this car. Main issue I am butting my head up against are the pros/cons of upgrading the car like I did to my 91 TT (boost controller, JWT ECU, full DP-catback exhaust, custom 2.5" intake/boost pipes and matching intercooler, etc). Other option is to completely restore the car to like-new condition inside and outside as if it was 1990 and Richard Straman had just finished the conversion. As I plan on only driving the car only a few times per month and continuing to daily my other TT, I can't seem to get a very good picture of where I need to go from here. At this point the car runs and drives, all OEM except for a FMIC and HKS bov's, and the exhaust past the main cats has been replaced. All original emissions equipment is still there, but mostly the exhaust is rusted out so needs to get replaced anyway...
