and this new 505 looks sweet, wish i had held out a bit longer. 5V vs. 2V is not that big of a deal, many people say eclipse units with 8V are "super good" but loads of bench testing proves minimal differences and that it should by no means sway your choice from one to the other. Alpine makes a quality product, i have dealt with many many many hu's in my life and Alpines almost always are the best choice.
