I have in my possession, new, uninstalled..... JWT dual pop Nismo 555's Apexi AFC-2my Z is at (TTnet) Stage 5+ right now and I am quite satisfied with it, except I really want to replace the gutted precats and cats. I realize that installing the new stuff will require sending my ECU to be redone, but is that it? Or will hiring someone to dyno tune it be absolutely necessary. (and one of my recirc valves is machined already for the dual pop, whatever that means) So my question to those with experience down this path is this.....I'm too scared to try to install this stuff because I feel I will be opening a real can of worms and the car wont be the same as it is right now. It is basically driving like stock with nothing to indicate otherwise but the BC and of course the stage 5 power curve. Am I being irrationally scared to install this stuff or will it require a substantial amount of cash ($800+) in order to get it done right? (which I am not currently in a position to spend) I am not even confident I can simply install the parts myself...the intake sure, but the injectors worry me and I havent even looked at a write up for the AFC-2.
