Message	To answer your question linear is better for perforamce, since the geomety does not change going around corners. About two or three years ago SportsCompactCar magazine in one of their Z project cars discussed the difference between linear and progressive. Linar were better for performace progressive were better for the ride. Most people choose progressive, I went with linear.
