Message	The ones I made screw directly into the threads of the struts. But you would have to mahcine a section to use some rubber where they mount on the base .Since they will rub.That way you can use them with strut bars aswell.And they can also be easily removed to adjust the suspension. The only problem with this design is that some cars are not properly aligned and the covers won't fit perfectly
