| So a few years ago I had Kyle build me an engine. Then I had HP Logic (Roberto) in Palm Beach Florida put the engine into my 1991 TT. During dyno they heard a noise they spoke with Kyle and sorted the issue out. Once complete I drove the car home. Within 15 minutes of leaving HP Logic the engine threw a rod. I had it towed back to HP Logic to have them look over car to determine what needed to be done. Robertos' remark to me was that he had other projects and my car would have to wait. I then picked up the car as is and trailered it to Houston Z who were amazingly professional and as they went through pulling the engine and diagnosing what went wrong and what needed to be fixed it became obvious that Roberto had scavenger good performance parts from my car and replaced them with inferior substitutes i.e. the stainless turbo oil hose was replaced with a standard hose with a worm style hose clamp. Hagarty insurance would not cover loss despite having a 50k policy on the car. So here I am left with an entire car that would need a new block and be put completely back together again. I just don't have it in me to go through this again. So my question is do I sell it as is without a block but has all of the parts to rebuild minus the ones Roberto took or try to part the entire thing out?
