I would love to use spring clamps on fuel pump fittings, but currently using screw type due to high pressure. Anyone know if I can switch to standard spring clamps without risking a leak/fire? I'm worried about tightening these down if the hose shrinks because access is terrible. I got the OEM hoses and Nissan spring clamps a few years ago for the engine bay. The hose seems to be good quality, and the clamps are crazy tight. Way stronger than the typical clamp. If you've read elsewhere that they deform easily, it's true. I'd recommend picking up proper hose clamp pliers if you go that route, and don't plan on removing/repositioning. I definitely gave up on some twisted clamps. I used Gates barricade for hose coming from the fuel pump, and it's good hose line. Not sure how it holds up in the bay.
