I realized what a Z was when my uncle got a 280z when I was about 8. One drive and I was hooked on Z's and cars in general. When the Z32 hit the market I was a senior in high school. First time I saw it I swore I would own one someday.
Settled for a new Sentra SE-R after college and then a seemingly endless series of decent sporty sedans and coupes -- but no Z. In 2014, I was randomly looking on Craigslist for something else and a 90 blue NA popped up not far from me. Wife was away on vacation and I bought it the next day :-) Spent the last 10 years collecting parts to restore and upgrade it and have it torn down for rust repair and paint now!
