Transmission and engine are bolted together acting as one component, so I understand why BDE recommends that both ends of the support should be the same "hardness/deflection" in bushings. (ie, using rubber bushings for the outer, wheel side FUCA and poly for the inner, body side bushings is a NO NO.)Now from an engineering view, each of the suspension arms have different forces (magnitude and direction) acting on them individually and each arms should be dampening vibrations and should not be transferring vibrations to another arm.
