i caught it before they all broke. it was rattling. [ http://twinturbo.net/nissan/300zx/forums/general/view/2612669/quick-question-RPS-Flywheel-Ring-Gear-loose.html ] I sent it back to SpecialtyZ and they sent it to RPS.. They asked if i wanted it rebuilt with new inserts. That was a mistake. the Red ones had different inserts than the newer Silver wheels. They took quite a while ( it was the month block between thanksgiving to Christmas) since they said something like the inserts needed to be custom made. They were all different heights and the disk didn't make solid contact across the 4 pads. i was getting noises and slippage. after 5 months, I ended up buying another whole flywheel. no issues with it. If the pads are decent, just get the ringgear serviced.
