Message The Z stopped being sold 27 years ago in the US (24 in Japan).
The z32 was 4 generations ago. There was the 350,370 now Z.
A lot of American cars parts in the day could be universal and cheaply made with sub par ( IMO ) quality and let’s face it nothing proprietary about them.
The total #’s of Z32’s sold in the US is minuscule to the quanity of mass produced American cars that were made.
Open the hoods of a domestic car from the 90’s and a Z32. Line up 100 mechanics. Ask them “ who wants to change the timing belt and injectors on the Z. Then ask them how many would do the same on the 90’s domestic.
All these variables and many others are why we don’t see much for aftermarket.

The Z is a dragon fruit which costs $10. It’s an acquired taste, not easy to find in stores and no farmer wants to grow it ( probably can’t be grown here but it’s a metaphor )

60, 70’s, 80’s and 90’s domestics are a bag of apples. You can buy a bag for less then $5 anywhere ( maybe less at wal-mart ) and just about anyone can grow them.

Thank goodness for eBay and Bernie
