Message Compatibility with ethanol. 304SS has a "up to 72F" footnote for gasoline and 316SS has a "up to 120F" footnote for gas. I'm skeptical that either 304 or 316 would have any issues.

Which lines did you replace with SS? Were they formed lines? What grade? Did the holes crop up at a joint, or in the middle of a section? If they were formed 1pc lines, I'd question whether they were just a really low grade SS. If they are multi-piece brazed assemblies, perhaps the braze filler had a compatibility issue?
