some of us had stainless steel lines installed ( b4 e85 and ethanol was in use). Today I had out of the blue a stainless steel line just flat out sprout a leak like it was stabbed with a pick. Last summer I had a return line from the second fuel pump sprout a leak like it was stabbed as well. Fortunately, both times I had just left my house -- was not boosting or far from home. From what I am told, regardless of fuel - stainless steel fuel lines will eventually fail. I plan to replace all my lines with ethanol resistant stainless lines as this is a fire hazard. I recommend if you have had your Z with SS fuel lines for sometime, to change as well.
