It's that time for tension rods again. When the coil overs when on 4yrs ago I figured adjustability at the tension rod just makes sense for setting the alignment correctly. Being a street setup, ride harness is a major concern in the suspension so solid rods are not an option. The Z1 poly rods are another option however the design does not allow sufficient bushing torsion. At that point I didn't see any other choices except for the SPC soft adjustables. They seem to perform fine however they didn't last long before the rubber material began to develop deep cracks. Fast forward and there still no other soft adjustable rod options available so I had this bright idea that maybe some of you have considered. I have not measured yet but why not replace the bushings in my SPC rods with some nismo bushings? If they match up this would provide the best of both worlds.
