Yeah, I'm kind of surprised. I haven't seen anything on BaT that quite matches the condition mine is in. Everything there (even the highest valued) has issues I'd never pay top dollar for. Rust, torn upholstery, modifications, questionable maintenance issues for the advertised mileage.... Still, looking at an average value over the last year, I think 40-50k would be fair for a 19k-mile, always-garaged, still-smells-new TT Z. If that's too greedy, I'll just stay with USAA. They pay ACV in the event of loss, so BaT is one of the places they'd look for value anyway. And I wouldn't have so many restrictions on my use of the car, even if my own restrictions exceed Grundy's.
