I finally decided to put my 19k mile Z o a collector insurance policy. Applied to Grundy about three weeks ago, and every day is a new "requirement" to complete the application. After sending in a ton of pics, they needed one IN the garage. After e-signing the application on their website, I needed to physically sign it...but oh, wait, they could do a Docusign. Oh wait...there's also a new form a needed to sign. Did it all, "So everything is good?" "Yes, I can send all this to the underwriter, and you should have an approval soon." NOPE. Now I need to substantiate the value I'd like to insure (which is odd, because the premium is based on the value you choose, but anyway...) I have a 1996 bill of sale, as I'm the original owner. So... Any recommendations on where to get an appraisal these morons might accept?
