The aftermarket part world, especially online, is vicious. Fingers get pointed, vendors get bashed, and parts get deemed sub-standard based on opinions and feelings, not facts. If a buyer has chinese ebay HIDs and their noisy ballasts cause a problem with your translator, they'll blame your product since their car was fine before they installed it. If you try to defend your product and (correctly) point out that their HIDs are the problem, you'll probably get drug through the mud. It's a no-win situation, and I'd hate to see you put in that position after you've invested a lot of time, effort, and money so that the community didn't have to fight over the few remaining Selins that come up for sale. I'd encourage you to seek out someone with HIDs to test just to cover your own rear-end.
