Message I made some interesting purchases recently on items that I thought were NLA. Turns out they’re both readily available.

First up, the Bilstein B6 shocks. Only the fronts are available for our cars, and seems like they’re only available overseas. If you look up the Z32 on the US Bilstein parts catalogue, nothing shows as available. However there is some sort of “Rest of world” catalogue that shows the front left and right parts available. I ultimately purchased them from Tunershop.com which seems to have been around a long time, lots of purchases made by other people on other forums. Shipped directly from Germany rather quickly too.

I don’t have them installed, but I already approve and recommend based solely on there being a logo of the Nurburgring on the shocks. Going with KYB AGX for rear shocks since nothing else really available.

Next is the RSR springs. I found these at BlackHawk Japan, the same place where I ordered my RHD R35 BMC. I had originally got in touch with RSR to see about custom-ordering Z32 springs, which they said was no problem but the price was 300 + 200 for shipping. Blackhawk Japan offers the full set of Z32 RSR springs for $120, plus $80 shipping. 200 bucks out the door, which is shocking. Not only that, but they seem to have the RSR “Ti2000 Super Down” springs for the Z32 available. I believe these are closer to a 2-inch drop than the regular 1-ish inch drop of the regular “Down” versions of RSR springs, and also supposedly come with a lifetime warranty. I’d love for someone else to check those out and let us know how they feel, though not sure how appropriate they would be for the street.

Lastly just something else cool I picked up from BlackHawk Japan were NISMO FUCA bushings. These were about $160 out the door for all the bushings for 4x Body-Side and 4x Link-side bushings. I’m excited to try them out, I didn’t know they were available.
