Message Once your shifter bracket is solidly mounted to the trans, your engine and trans mounts become your new shifter bracket bushings. That's why I push the BDE mounts so hard, this setup is compliant enough to drive across the country no problem. Brand new OEM engine and trans mounts might also work, but I think the ES poly bushing used in the BDE mounts is where all the magic is with making the solid shifter bracket feel as good as it does.

For the record, I personally have little tolerance for NVH. I remember specifically trying out solid diff bushings, ball joint tension rods, stock TTop wind deflectors, single piece drive shaft and got rid of those parts due to differences in ride quality. I definitely understand and sympathize with annoying NVH in the cabin.
