Message using the OEM harness adapter, so any wiring that does route through the ECU would be handled by that. I'd have to go back and look through the schematics, but I'm pretty sure only the tach and the CEL are driven by the ECU. The speedo is tied into it, but I believe that's an input only on the ECU side - both ECU and speedo are fed the VSS signal (in series - VSS-->speedo-->ECU).

Yea, if I HAD to go with the Haltech cluster, that most likely would have been a dealbreaker. Aside from the cost, I wanted the car to look as OEM as possible.

Oh yea, now the tach does the nifty needle sweep thing when you key-on!!! It's an option you can turn on or off.
