If it is as high as your name implies then a used block would be worth the cost. I was face with the same decision 10 years ago when I redid my engine. The factor bore was not perpendicular to the deck and there was not enuff material to safely clean it up considering I was planning on a 20+PSI build. The machine shop advised that sleeves would introduce a weak spot in such a build. Now understand, straightening the bore was gong to take out more than "normal" for a sleeve, hence less reliability than a normal sleeve install. I went with a used block. He had a real hard time getting a good one, scoured all of SoCal and could not find one he would use. He contacted Z1 and got one they would guarantee to be straight and clean with min over-bore. And it was good. With shipping it costs me $500 but the piece of mind was worth it.
