SWIM thinks an engine has a sticking valve causing engine to 'bog down when accelerating'. Iv'e no idea how he diagnosed this as the engine hasn't been taken apart or tested. Is it worth buying upgraded VTC springs with upgraded valve springs? The very same person i won't mention has also said a cam seal is leaking so he recommends upgrading valve springs whilst my engine is apart to fix the cam seal, i tried arguing they are two totally different jobs & got told i was an idiot Apparently you don't need upgraded JWT VTC spring or anything else. I will gain HP just from upgrading springs & engine will no long 'bog down', is this correct?
