The access to the front of the engine, headlights, etc. is so much greater, in the long run often removing the assembly is time saving. It certainly aids in keeping space behind the nose uncluttered and factory correct. The learning curve is quick, and once you find the correct set of sockets and extensions, even the most difficult bolts are easy to access. Most of these facias have been off before, and often they are reinstalled with incorrect hardware. Take the time purchase the correct fasteners and brackets. You may even discover that panel gap you thought was unfixable is now fixed.
