of an automatic (no boost loss between shifts, quicker shifts than a human, etc) without the difficulties of building the Z32 auto trans to hold power and shift quickly/firmly. DCTs use clutches instead of torque converters, so the drivetrain losses would be less than an automatic. ...and when you get stuck in traffic, you can click it over into drive and let the computer do the shifting. Only real downside is that your left leg will get bored.
