While it remains to be seen how popular it is, I'm glad there are people out there pushing the envelope and trying new things. I'd rather have a third pedal because it's a big part of the visceral experience. But after tracking a 991 GT3 with PDK, I was blown away by how good the shifting was--like it was reading my mind. I've never had an experience like that with any other dual-clutch. I'm sure the engine had as much to do with it, and will be interesting to see how this works with the various TT powerbands that exist in the wild.
