Hi folks! Today i took an engine apart with the bottom end left in the car for the first time. I had been under the impression the genius concensus was that its hard/impossible to do. With that in mind i have always spent a greater amount of time removing the entire engine & now it seems that time was wasted since the entire passenger side of the engine can be accessed on a car with stock turbos quite easily. It took me 3 hours start to finish, including an hour off to buy a 13mm wrench to cut up & modify. This has left me wondering how much harder it is to do the drivers side. If anyone here is knowledgeable on doing the drivers side insitu id be interested to hear about it
