I ran a SZ Max Street clutch for many years. It held 747 whp for around 15K miles while also being my favorite clutch I’ve ever had in terms of drivability and street manners. When the time came to replace it, it had been discontinued. So I recently switched to the High 5 clutch. It’s useable but I don’t love it for anything involving traffic. It’s great when it’s cold but it gets grabby when it’s warm and needs quite a bit more RPM’s on take off and still gets some jutter/chassis shake. Shifts great once the car is rolling though. I just find myself avoiding a complete stop as much as possible. I never track my car and street manners play a big role in my driving enjoyment. Can anyone recommend a clutch similar to the Max Street? Does something like that exist with RPS, Southbend, etc? I wish I had known what I know now and I would have bought 5 of them to keep on the shelf.
