Stopped by a new self-service car wash that I had never been to before. Nice property, had all the bells and whistles. I tried everything on the menu that came out of their pressure wand including something labeled “ceramic,” a “triple color wax,” and all the usual suspects, pre-soak, spot free rinse, foam brush, etc. I noticed the stains on my plastic bumper while I was still at the car wash but the high-end spray-on polish I had with me didn’t touch it.
Once home, I have tried everything shown in the foto. I am able to make a dent with the mineral spirits followed by the Turtle shell spray on wax, but the stains are not completely coming off including with a lot of elbow grease. WTF? Can I use rubbing compound on the rear plastic bumper? Plastic polish? Any suggestions?
