Message BlackholeZ's point that consumers have been known to flip the cars and in effect do the same thing as the dealer? Do we hunt the flippers down and give them bad reviews, too?

Car dealers I think are the lowest rated business for trust by consumers, so I don't think we are "surprised" by their tactics. I guess we are discussing who has the most "rights" in a free country and capitalistic society to do the price gouging? I am thinking the dealer has first dibs and as distasteful as it is, can't find too much fault in their actions. And of course, putting that price on the car doesn't mean they would not take less, maybe a lot less.
