They aren't distracting and I don't think they interfere with my view. The gauges aren't real big so they don't take up much more visual space than the pillar already did. However, I'm 6'2 and do find that the 3 gauges aren't fully viewable from my normal seating position- 1 seems a little covered up by another. But I can glance and get a good idea. Helps that I've had them for a long time and are used to them. I don't drive the Z much, it's mostly a garage queen but I do take it out on nice days.
