| Hey everyone I am new to the forum and a new first-time 300ZX owner so I apologize in advance for any dumb questions :-). My teenager and I have purchased his first car - his dream car - a 1991 300ZX TT JDM. I am hoping it can be a long-term father/son thing to keep us connected as he gets older. The car is mostly stock and in good shape but the turbos are starting to smoke from the exhaust and I am looking to get them replaced before the summer driving season. I am not a mechanic and as this is his first car I don't want to go with anything too crazy performance wise (to keep his mother happy TBH) Looking for some recommendations - Garrett GT-525 a decent kit? I have read that it may be a good idea to get the timing belt done at the same time. I am in the Vancouver BC area and need to find a mechanic to work on the car so any suggestions / recommendations would be awesome! Thanks in advance!
