- PTU delete. - Modern smartcoil design. These essentially have an integrated PTU / igniter and are proven at higher hp levels on other platforms. - Stronger spark / reduces spark blowout at higher boost levels. - Still an OEM Nissan part unlike the R8 and junkyard LS coils. That matters to some folks (*cough* me *cough*) - This particular approach with BDE is a drop-in solution, like the stock ones. Meaning, you wouldn't need to pull the intake manifold to get access to the coils / change spark plugs / run a compression test / run a lead wire on a dyno). That was a non-starter for me with another brand's R35 kit
