Message first level out the AUS injectors*, then start at safety boost and use the long term fuel trims to gradually tweak the map. Not as near as efficient as a dyno session of course, but he said when I'm done, I'll be at least 90% there. Considering I'm NOT maxing out power just yet, That should get me close. I will get on a dyno, it's just gonna have to wait.

*On the AUS injectors, I know some are firmly against using them, but I really can't deny Scott Taylor's success in using them. Not saying it'll be easy and I will most definitely be working with him as I get things set up - we'll see how it goes. Also, the tuner I'll be using here did recommend either Injector Dynamics or AUS. Like most things with tuning the car, different guys will have different experiences, preferences and strategies. I'm starting at it from scratch with an unbiased view. I've talked to quite a few guys in an effort to stay objective. That said, when presented with data by someone versus someone who follows the "this is how I've always done it, and I know those just suck" way of thinking, I'm going to lean toward looking at the data. It's like I tell my engineers at work - if the answer is "this is how we've always done it", the answer is wrong.

Please pardon the small rant there, but (while I do acknowledge people's experiences) there's a lot of blind following that goes on when it comes to our cars. I prefer to gather as much info as I can and then make a decision. Will I be right all the time? Nope, but I'd rather make an educated choice.

Regardless of it all, I'm excited to get into this and see how things go.
