I had a non-300ZX restoration project end up in Sidney for body and paint work (and mechanical) after failing to find an honest, reasonably-priced bodyshop anywhere in the lower mainland. The difference in hourly rate more than makes up for the ferry rides. Vancouver bodyshops seemed to be much more interested in ICBC workflow or cost-is-no-object Lamborghini CF splitter repair.
