is that chrome is an electronic insulator. Make sure the plenum ground points have the chrome removed from the contact point of the ground lug so it's contacting the bare plenum. Otherwise, electrical weirdness can result. This applies to all coatings. We (Amateur Z) have found they don't seem to loose much power on the dyno, but haven't done any IAT logging between bare plenums, PC heat dispersion plenums and chrome. Anecdotally, I can tell you I can touch a heat-dispersion coated plenum after several dyno pulls and not burn off my fingers like touching a chrome plenum after the same.
