my experience with that sika, albeit in different applications, is that it can get chalky when exposed to elements and water. it doesn't always happen, and i never figured out why. i was zeroing in on a theory that the way it is tooled can cause the issue. i was told by some sika reps that 221 doesn't have the same, or any of the UV inhibitors that their other products do. it is however one of the best adhesive products i ever used, and should work well for your addition. i just thought i'd put out there that it can chalk and leave streaks on adjacent surfaces over time. erik z.
