After owning a 1991 twin turbo that I sold in 1998 with 19,000 miles; I always wanted an SMZ. To me, it the was Nissan's AMG version of the Z, its M version of Z, whatever you want to call it. Yes, you could do all the mods the SMZ had but it was a factory sold version of the Z that others were modifying on their own. Plus it was very rare. Finally found one with 48,000 miles and all original. They (through the dealer) were asking way too much and I talked them down quite a bit. It was owned by an older couple and they lived on a dirt road but did not drive it much and also did not keep it looking mint. It needs very little to my standards (I want to be like new) and I am working on those items. Its cool to see 1995 real carbon fiber in the interior (shift knob, radio surround, door grab handles, etc, when most people had no clue what it was back in 1995.
