It's a good read. I do have a full suspension. I have been building my Z for, well, forever now. The only thing I haven't done is the 2.5" piping and engine work. But almost every other part of the car is upgraded, don't get me wrong, it's a blast to drive, it's fast enough, handles well enough and sounds amazing. I've loved wrenching on it over the years (at this point I can pull the engine in my sleep almost), but I still remember buying it and driving it back from San Diego, it was bone stock, what a fun drive. I feel like with these Z's, the more you upgrade, the most issues you have, I never had any issues when it was stock. And I'm not comparing the cars, you can't really, they are different classes of car, from different decades. I happen to own both, and now I've just realized I don't need the Z to be anything other that it is, a fantastic 90's JDM icon. I just wish I had the car stock again, right now it's sitting in an auto cocoon because I don't want to deal with the smog hassle, which is a shame because I miss driving it. I can get it to pass, but it's a total pain in the ass. I think most people misunderstand what I'm trying to say, I'm not comparing or complaining about the Z, quite the opposite, for me, I regret changing it from when I first bought it, because it was perfect for me then and all I want to do is drive the car. Who knows, maybe I'll keep it just the way it is as it's a lot of work to put back to complete stock, but now I got this idea stuck in my head, I'll probably do it at some point. Watching that video somebody posted up the other day was the inspiration for my post. It just hit me, man, I wish I had my Z stock. Anyway, not to take away from all the amazing things people are doing with their Z's, it's pretty phenomenal how far people are pushing these cars, and the community to top notch. I just want to go back in the other direction. lol
