Message Now that you mention it, on my black TT The ID wing was about 1/8 inch shorter than the stock wing in the front where the A is in that picture.

Luckily that car was black and it was very much not noticeable unless you were standing right there up close and it was pointed out you could see it. With the black sikaflex to adhere the wing, it oozed out a little bit, hiding most of the ugly paint line that was there from the wing itself being too short.

Big must to Test fit before paint yep !! If I would have sanded some more down before paint it likely would have lined up a little better (even on the top of the hatch it was 1/8inch shorter From what I recall) and hid more.

Heres a couple pics of a Kuruma wing installed on the old red tt
Im sure you could sand it before paint and fiddle with it to make a better flush fit on front edges. This one was installed 10yrs ago.
Imo the kuruma isnt as short in the front edges as the id (unless the mold has changed!!!)
