Message	These brakes were from my old silver Z purchased in 08, the old thread tape has been there all of this time. I just put it back on because that is how I found them. Finding several posts on BITOG that say thread tape perfectly acceptable to keep the bleed screws from seizing and also keep air from entering the system if you turn the bleed screw too far, also helps seal bleed screw threads for use with vacuum bleeder. I think it was previously installed for one of these reasons.
